Quote Terms and Conditions

In submitting this proposal, Diamond Polish & Coatings agrees to:

1. Hold our proposal open for 30 days after the proposal date.

2. Provide complete turn-key work for all work specified above, including labor, material & equipment. 

 
General Clarifications & Exclusions: 

1. Payment of half of proposal amount shall be prior to project start, with the balance due upon completion of the project unless there are terms otherwise agreed to in quote. Checks will be made payable to Diamond Polish & Coatings 206A S Loop 336 W #234 Conroe TX 77304. 

2. Performance of the scope of work described above is contingent upon a MUTUALLY agreeable contract between the client and Diamond Polish & Coatings. DPC is under no obligation to provide products or services unless such an agreement is executed by both parties.  Client acceptance of unaltered proposal is sufficient.

3. This proposal is not based on any prevailing wage or existing collective bargaining agreements being applicable to our work.  

 
Concrete Polishing Clarifications & Exclusions: 

1. Installers will be provided uninterrupted access to the area during work.

2. Areas to be processed shall be clear of all furniture, fixtures and/or moveable equipment by client prior to arrival of installation crew.  

3. All construction activities shall cease in the areas being processed. No other trades shall have access to these areas during installation.

4. Client will provide reasonable access to the slab for loading/unloading of materials. Rental of forklifts or other material handling equipment for rough terrain, muddy jobsites, or movement of materials to upper floors is excluded and will be either provided by client or paid via change order.

5. The final look of polished concrete is heavily dependent upon the existing concrete substrate. The polishing contractor is not responsible for repairing unforeseen defects in the concrete surface. It is the responsibility of the client to provide a clean, sound, flat, and well troweled concrete slab. Polishing contractor shall not be responsible for variations in texture, aggregate exposure, staining or other defects caused by other trades.

6. If the surface to be polished is currently covered by other floor coverings, the polishing contractor can make no guarantees about the quality of the substrate prior to demolition/removal of the existing flooring.

7. There is no guarantee that the surface will be permanently “sealed” against penetration into the slab by oil, fuel, solvents, and other staining products. While polished concrete is very durable, certain chemicals can stain or damage the surface, even after the installation of a guard product. 

8. The following are excluded unless specifically noted above: heavy or moderate aggregate exposure, polishing of risers and/ or stairs, installation of color, concrete patching or crack repair, decorative scoring, floor protection before and/or after installation, control joint cleaning and filling, removal of paint, drywall mud, or other materials left on the concrete by other trades.

9. This work is based upon a one time mobilization basis unless otherwise noted. Additional mobilizations will incur a fee.

10. Available water for construction, restroom facilities and general 110/220 power will be provided at no charge to Diamond.

11. Color textures and patterns are examples only and slight variations are within industry standards.

12. Any change to colors or patterns require 48 hours notice prior to commencement of any work.

13. MVE/MVT Mitigation is not quoted in price unless otherwise stated.

14. DPC will require a preconstruction meeting to discuss means, methods and products.

15. This is quoted as regular time work.  No overtime, weekend or night work is included in this quote unless otherwise noted.
